Benefits of hot yoga

The difference between regular yoga and hot yoga is that hot yoga takes place in a heated studio where the temperature will range between 35°C to 41°C. Hot yoga will optimally work all the muscles, ligaments and tendons of the human body. The heat warms up the muscles significantly faster than regular yoga and increases your range of flexibility and aids in preventing injury. Hot yoga accelerates calorie burn, and provides enhanced cardiovascular fitness; improves your immune system; slows the aging process; increases your strength and flexibility; lowers your blood pressure; reduces stress; controls and aids in weight lose; detoxifying effect on the bladder, skin and other organs; enhances spiritual well-being. Hot yoga is a means to an enhanced healthy and flexible mind and body.


Class Style Levels

Each instructor at Hot Yoga Aurora brings their own styles and experiences to the class and our classes are designed to be enjoyed by all levels, so Discover Yourself! Our classes are a powerful learning experiences in which you will literally discover your body, how it works, and what it can do. Classes are designed to give you the time and support to understand the proper alignment of Yoga asanas (postures) and breathing techniques by focusing on basics, but it doesn’t stop there.
Intermediate students with regular practice are encouraged to try more challenging poses as is appropriate for each person, and people often find themselves doing poses that they never thought they could EVER do.
Advanced students are assisted with more specific and refined asanas and meditation techniques. All students are encouraged early on to realize that the physical aspect of the yoga practice is the least important, and that Yoga is more geared toward Enlightenment and Living with bliss in your daily life.

We also offer private yoga classes and instruction and private pilates classes and instruction.


Exchange Program

As part of our commitment to making yoga accessible to all in the community, we have an Exchange Program where students can work at the studio in exchange for unlimited classes. If you would like to participate in this program, please contact us.


BODY SCULPTING PILATES classes with Naz. Pilates method is an exercise system focused on improving flexibility and building strength for the total body. Improves muscle control while toning the core system.


The classes are structured to work your core uniquely and provide you with basic stepping stones to advancing your skills.
